🔁 Returns & Exchanges: The Melted Effect

Due to the nature of our products and federal health regulations regarding hygiene, all sales are final. However, we want you to love your look. Please review our specific guidelines below:

1. Custom & Ready-to-Wear Wigs

• No Returns or Exchanges: Because custom units are made to your specific measurements and "Melted" to your preference, they cannot be returned.

• Fit Issues: Please ensure your head measurements are accurate before ordering. The Haus Of Mel is not responsible for improper fit due to incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

2. Bundles, Lace Systems & Raw Hair

• Exchange Only: We offer exchanges on unopened, unworn hair extensions within 7 days of delivery.

• The "Void" Rule: The zip ties/security seals must remain intact. If the bundles have been brushed, washed, unraveled, or installed, they are not eligible for exchange.

3. Hot Tools & Merchandise

• Defective Items: If your hot tools arrive defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will provide a replacement or store credit once the defective item is returned and inspected.

• Merchandise (Clothing/Accessories): Must be unworn and unwashed with original tags attached to qualify for an exchange.

4. Incorrect or Missing Items

Mistakes happen! If we sent the wrong texture, length, or product:

1. Email themeltedeffect@gmail.com within 48 hours.

2. Keep all original packaging.

3. We will provide a pre-paid shipping label and rush your correct order to you at no additional cost.

⚠️ Important Disclaimers

Hygiene Warning: Federal law prohibits the return of used human hair. If we receive a return that shows signs of being worn, bleached, or manipulated, it will be sent back to you at your expense.

• Restocking Fee: Any approved returns/exchanges for non-defective items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

• Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for exchanges.
