Shipping Policy: The Melted Effect

1. Processing & Fulfillment Times

Because our products range from ready-to-ship merchandise to custom-built units, processing times vary:

• Merchandise & Hot Tools: 3-7 business days.
• Bundles (Raw & Virgin): 3-7 business days.
• Ready-to-Wear Wigs: 3-7 business days.
• Custom Wigs: 7-21 business days (includes construction and customization).

Note: Processing time is separate from shipping time. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery

We ship via [Insert Carrier, e.g., UPS/USPS]. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

3. Signature Requirement & Security

To protect your investment, all orders over $200 require a signature upon delivery. * Billing & Shipping Address: To prevent fraud, your billing and shipping addresses must match. If they do not, your order may be cancelled and refunded.

• P.O. Boxes: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes for high-value hair orders.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been melted and prepped for shipment, you will receive an email confirmation containing your tracking number. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update.

5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

The Haus Of Mel is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the carrier marks them as "Delivered."

• If your package is lost in transit, please contact the carrier immediately to file a claim.

• We highly recommend purchasing Route Shipping Insurance (if you offer it) at checkout for added peace of mind.
